HOW TO BOOK:
FIRST: To book your Machu Picchu Tour, complete our booking form by clicking on BOOK NOW on our homepage or the link BOOK NOW.

- Full name (as it appears on your passport)
- Gender
- Passport number
- Date of Birth (dd/mm/yyyy)
- Nationality
SECOND: We require a deposit of US$211.00 per person to secure your entrance to Machu Picchu and train ticket. You can make your deposit by clicking on the VISA or PAYPAL symbols on the top of our homepage or the payment method of your choice on our booking page.
MAY I CHANGE THE DEPARTURE DATE AFTER THE TICKETS HAVE BEEN PURCHASED? Unfortunately, no. Once tickets have been purchased, the government does not allow any changes. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
*** If you cancel your tour to Machu Picchu with Vistadome Train, the deposit is non-refundable.
DO I NEED MY ORIGINAL PASSPORT FOR MACHU PICCHU TOURS?
Yes, absolutely! You must bring your original passport, and it is crucial that it matches the passport number you provided when booking your entrance to Machu Picchu, train ticket, and other reservations. Rangers will check your passport when you enter Machu Picchu, and the train company will also verify it before allowing you to board.
If you are renewing your passport or changing your name, you can send us your old passport information to secure your permit. Once you have your new passport, we can update your information for a fee of $25 per person. To make this change, we need copies of both your old and new passports. It’s advisable to keep a copy of your old passport before making the change.
If you prefer not to pay this fee, you will need to bring both passports (old and new) with you to Peru. You can enter Peru with your new passport, but you must show both passports to enter Machu Picchu or board the train. Without both, you will not be allowed entry, as the regulations are very strict.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE DURING THE MACHU PICCHU TOURS?
The weather is very unpredictable, making it difficult to foresee. We recommend bringing a warm jacket for the early morning and a rain poncho in case of rain showers.
ARE WE DROPPED OFF AT OUR HOTEL AFTER THE 1-DAY MACHU PICCHU TOUR?
Yes, absolutely! Our packages include drop-off at your hotel upon return from your trek or tour. If you’ve booked your hotel in the Sacred Valley, such as in Ollantaytambo or Urubamba, we will drop you off there too. If you spend the night in Ollantaytambo before the trek, we can also pick you up there.
TIPPING
While tipping is not compulsory, it is appreciated if you’re happy with the services provided. Though it may not be customary in your country, tipping is significant to those who take care of you during the tour. It encourages excellent service and is an integral part of the tourism industry across many INCA EXPEDITIONS destinations. Feel free to tip as much as you deem appropriate, based on the quality and length of your tour. Remember, tipping is entirely voluntary and should reflect the level of service you received.
ARE YOU SUSTAINABLE?
Yes, we are a local, sustainable, and responsible tourism operator. We incorporate universal principles of tourism by protecting the environment and benefiting local communities while respecting their culture and religion. Our staff is trained to understand and respect the local places and people.
