Afterward, you’ll face the trek’s biggest challenge: a two-and-a-half-hour uphill climb to the first pass, Puccaqasa, at 4400m/14,436ft. Once at the top, take in the stunning 360º views and savor the sense of accomplishment. A half-hour walk along a rolling valley leads to your campsite, where hot drinks and appetizers await. After settling into your pre-set tents, dinner will be served.

Enjoy the breathtaking views of the valleys below before descending an hour down a steep path of switchbacks. The following hour is a gentle descent to Inti Punku (Sun Gate), offering expansive views over the valley, dominated by the snow-capped Veronica Mountain.

After another gourmet meal at this impressive archeological site, the trek continues with a steep descent for an hour, followed by a gentle two-hour hike to the Veronica View Hotel. Here, you’ll enjoy a world-class dinner, access to a heated swimming pool, and the spa’s sauna. You can also indulge in a relaxing massage to soothe your muscles after the trek.
