A deposit of $200.00 per person is required to purchase entrance tickets to Machu Picchu and train tickets. You can make this deposit via VISA or PAYPAL on our homepage or booking page.
Balance Payment:
To avoid high credit card fees in Peru, you can pay in cash (US dollars or Peruvian soles) at our office. Alternatively, you may pay online via VISA or PAYPAL, though a 5.5% service fee will apply. For PAYPAL payments, use our email address: incasexpeditions@gmail.com.
Changing Departure Dates:
Once tickets are purchased, changes are not allowed due to government regulations. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation.
Passport Requirements:
You must bring your original passport, matching the number provided for your bookings. The rangers will check this at Machu Picchu, and the train company will verify it before boarding. If you are renewing your passport or changing your name, send us your old passport details to secure your permit. We can update the information for a $25 fee per person. Bring both old and new passports to Peru if you choose not to pay this fee.
Failing to present both passports may result in being denied entry to Machu Picchu or the train. They have strict verification policies.
Tipping
While tipping is not mandatory, it is greatly appreciated if you are satisfied with the services provided. Though it may not be customary in your country, tipping holds significant value for those who have cared for you throughout the tour. It encourages high-quality service and is a common practice across many INCA EXPEDITIONS destinations. You are welcome to tip according to your assessment of the service quality and the duration of the tour. Remember, tipping is entirely voluntary and should only be given in response to exceptional service.
