Ica, located 300 km south of Lima, is an agricultural oasis with perfect beaches for Flounder and Sea Bass fishing. It has extensive fields of cotton, lima beans, asparagus, pecans and grapes for wine production (Ica is considered the grape and wine capital of Peru).
A long time ago the most important cultures of Peru lived here: the Paracas, Nasca and Wari. Today, the city remains important as the departure point for visiting some of the best beaches on the Peruvian coast, as well as the famous Nasca Lines.
From Ica you can reach the most beautiful beaches on the Peruvian coast. There are several roads leading west across the desert to the ocean. We give you the chance to take a one hour 45 minute trip from Ocucaje across the desert ending in a series of beaches (150km of fishing beaches) such as Lomitas, Barlovento, Antana, Olleros etc.
